The Cafe

A Neighborhood Café

At least, that's what it says on the door.

The Green Heron is a neighborhood cafe coming to 3129 SE Belmont St., with great coffee, breakfast, and live music in a cozy room built for conversation. Come in, grab a cup, chat with a neighbor, and enjoy a morning that feels almost ordinary.

Almost.

Until the menu changes when no one is looking. Until the welcoming staff begin expecting things of you that feel borrowed from another time. Until the radio cuts through the room with something that sounds less like interference and more like a warning. Little by little, The Green Heron stops feeling like a cafe and starts feeling like something has found a way in.

Inside the Room

The Room

The Green Heron is warm, leafy, and close-set: emerald seats, cream walls, soft lamps, and walnut tables made for coffee and conversation. But the room has a habit of changing when you look away. A shadow deepens. A light turns. A familiar corner seems lost to another time. Nothing announces itself, but something is waiting at the edge of the room, ready to creep in the moment you lower your guard.

How Tickets Work

The Green Heron is no ordinary cafe. The story unfolds across the day, each set turning another page of a slow-burning mystery. One ticket reserves your seat for one chapter.

Each ticket includes

  • A 45-minute live set
  • One coffee, tea, or seasonal drink
  • One menu item

Drop in for a single chapter and catch a taste of the room, or book a couple in a row as the corners start to keep their own secrets.
